DBA on Call provides a cost effective method of supplementing your DBA team with senior database administrators who are available up to 24 hours per day.  We provide routine and advance DBA services to reduce workload on your DBA team.  Routine services include database monitoring, cloning, environment preparation, patching and backups.  Advanced services include Oracle Applications upgrades implementation as well as implementing Dataguard, RAC and Streams.  Our team support approach provides coverage for your database environments after normal work hours, during heavy workload periods and when you DBA team is on vacation or unavailable.

Our DBA team provides true consulting to our clients.  With experience working in complex database environments, we provide expert advice on how to solve business needs from a technical perspective.  We’ll listen to your business needs, evaluate your system capabilities and recommend the best options for achieving your business goals.  We support most database environments including: Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems.

We specialize in supporting high availability installations and can provide database environment review and disaster recovery/backup planning for your systems.  In conjunction with our DBA monitoring service, weekly client calls assure constant communication regarding the health of your database systems as well as information regarding patching, space allocation and future upgrade needs.  We also keep our clients updated on features contained in Oracle upgrades and patches, as well as information regarding other software that can enhance your current environment.
