Mark Hooper

Mark Mark Hooper is an Oracle Applications DBA at HigherTech. He started out in Information Technology in 1994 on Microsoft’s Helpdesk. He migrated to Desktop support at GTE (now Verizon) and then to networks administration at FEDEX in 1998. In 2001 Mark took his first Oracle Applications DBA role at Hencie Consulting. Since then he has participated in many high profile Oracle projects in both the public and private sectors. This diverse IT background gives him a full understanding of distributed applications from end to end.

Mark grew up in Plano, TX, married Lisa, his high school sweetheart, in 1984 and his 2 kids are the 4^th generation to attend Plano schools. In his free time he enjoys riding his Harley Davidson. He spends time with his large extended family in the area and his favorite travel spot is Las Vegas. He and his wife also rescue dogs with the local Humane Society.
